Welcome to The Cat Garden, home of A. VanRenselaar’s fiction netcasts (yes, the term ‘podcast’ irritates me). I will begin posting netcasts Real Soon Now (sorry, I’ve been busy), with an update schedule of every Saturday.

I will begin by doing an audiobook version of a book I wrote several years back called Magic Fell. This should take us seven months or so, and should (theoretically, anyway) give me enough time to start writing The Cat Garden short stories and get a good buffer going. Also during that 30 weeks, my goal is to save/raise enough money to get an ISBN for the print version of Magic Fell.

The short description for Magic Fell is as follows:

In a world where magic is outlawed and punishable by death, Raeya Wavesinger has much to fear. When she discovers her own magical ability, she discovers that she may be the only person who can save the legendary Mages Guild. With the company of her sister, a very strange cat, and a young elf on a journey of his own, she must leave eveything she’s ever known. But will she find what she’s looking for, or will she die trying?
